There are people who keep their LG cellphones glued to their ears. That being the case, the LG mobile phone batteries are easily drained. This is because they take calls non-stop. There are several types of battery in use at the present time and each must be treated differently. There are Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cad), Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Lithium-ion. Ni-Cad is old technology and hence only found in ancient handsets, so I will not be covering them in this article. NiMH batteries perform much better than Ni-Cad, typically giving 30% more talk time, but Lithium are thinner and give even higher performance. Why is this important? If you have a relatively new PC the only problem you will get are error messages relating to the clock on start up. No big deal. If your PC is older then a low battery could be a nightmare. I had a PC which once lithium stock every few months refused to boot. Rather than take the PC in for repair or start replacing parts myself the first thing I did was look at the BIOS settings. It was soon obvious that the BIOS settings were corrupt (wrong bus speed). I put a volt meter on the battery and sure enough it was reading 2.2 volts.
In case you some how do not use the battery for 3 months or more, the above described procedure should be followed before you restart using the battery as normal.
The Lithium battery stocks-ion battery is light years ahead of the earlier batteries and considerably better than the Nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) or the nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries which are still being used. These batteries are less expensive but the Li-ion batteries are far superior in three ways.

A Lithium mines Ontario-ion cell loses 20% of its maximum capacity in one year when it's stored on 40 degrees Celsius and full charge. Not too many people have 40 C in their room all year long, but what about internal heat sources? If you use your notebook from AC power, you're keeping it fully charged, which it doesn't fancy, and on about 40C.
If your drill didn't come with a second battery (my cordless Bosch drill did) than you will either have to purchase a second battery or take a short break until your battery is ready.
